Pipeline history: Previous leads from the same company, previous contacts who converted, any prior deal history. This firmographic memory is powerful for companies with complex B2B buying cycles.

AI lead scoring must integrate cleanly with the CRM workflow to be adopted by sales teams. A model that is technically excellent but buried in a data science tool that salespeople never open creates no business value.
Score display: The AI score must be visible in the CRM lead view, alongside existing fields, with a visual indicator of score tier (hot/warm/cold) that salespeople can grasp instantly.
Score explanation: "This lead scored 87 because: job title match (VP level), recent pricing page visit, company in target industry, 3 email opens this week." Explaining the score increases trust and adoption significantly.
Workflow triggers: The score should trigger CRM workflows — routing to the right rep, creating follow-up tasks, changing lead status — automatically. The human should review and act, not manually check a score dashboard.
Score refresh cadence: Scores should update in real-time or near-real-time as new behavioral signals come in. A lead that visits the pricing page at 9am should have an updated score by 9:05am, not at the end of the day.
